Chanta Patton: Born and raised in Raleigh, NC by way of Baltimore, Maryland.
What is your ethnic background?
Chanta Patton: Creole (African American, French, Native American)
How did you get started in modeling/acting?
Chanta Patton: Childhood North Carolina Pageants--> Winner of modeling contest such as Baltimore's Next Top Model, America's Next top Model Finalist---> Photoshoots to build my portfolio*-->Moved to Los Angeles to be in a larger market for modeling and acting--> Got signed to two major agencies--> began building my resume of work
Do you have any role models or people you look up to?
Chanta Patton: I admire both Halle Berry and Sharon Stone. Phenomenal actresses who go "all out" for their characters while maintaining their natural sex appeal. Classy*
What do you think is your best physical attribute?
Chanta Patton: My eyes. I can speak to you without saying a word*
How often do you work out?
Chanta Patton: Not as much as I used to, once a week (sometimes).
What are some of your current projects?
Chanta Patton: Preparing for a major film, hitting theaters October 2010. Still starring in music videos, latest being Boyfriend #2 with Pleasure P* as well as commercials for brands such as Pepsi Max, Nike and Footlocker.
What are some of your future goals?
Chanta Patton: To be a memorable actress, and once that happens who knows whats next...
How would you best describe your personality?
Chanta Patton: Down to Earth. Giving. Ambitious.
You are a college grad, accomplished and very attractive. Do men find you intimidating?
Chanta Patton: Yes, but hopefully after reading this interview, more will take a chance! (secret: My type of guy is "opposite" of that which people expect)
What is the best/most memorable job you have been on?
Chanta Patton: Working with T.I. on the MTV Video Music Awards performing "Whatever you like"! It was live on MTV and a little nerve wrecking but overall T.I. made the experience more easygoing by distracting me with jokes and funny stories* He's a gentleman.
What actor/actress would you love to work with?
Chanta Patton: I would love to work with somebody old school like Ruby Dee*
What is one of your guilty pleasures?
Chanta Patton: I need Dessert after dinner everyday! even if its just a bite of something sweet. Also, the ATL housewives crack me up.
What is something about you that people would be surprised to know?
Chanta Patton: I have a degree in applied Mathematics and I have lots of freckles.
What type of guys do you like?
Chanta Patton: I love SMART MEN!!! I get so unusually turned on when I see a man handling his business. Whether they are busy and making demands from other execs, squeezing a free minute out of a hectic day to call me and listen to my random thoughts, or he just gives good advice... It gets me warm in someplaces*
Are you interested in sports?
Chanta Patton: Competitive Cheerleading. I was cheerleading captain in high school and college so I will forever love its appeal.
What is your fashion style? How do you dress regularly?
Chanta Patton: Of course, I love sex appeal to show within my clothes, but nothing over the top. Just enough to get compliments from not only men, but woman as well. Yigal Azrouel is my favorite designer, sexy and eclectic.
