Laila Odom: I was born in Orange, New Jersey. I was living in Harlem before I moved to LA.
When did you start acting?
Laila Odom: I started acting when I was 7 years old.
Where you a big fan of Zane and her books before you had this role?
Laila Odom: I actually would read a Zane book on my flight from Newark of JFK to LAX
Is the character Ana Marie Hawkings anything like Laila Odom?
Laila Odom: I'm most like the Ana Marie character when it comes to being the comedy relief.
What do you think is your best physical attribute?
Laila Odom: My arms.
What are some of you current projects?
Laila Odom: Zane's will be returning for a 2nd season and a TV improv show on the horizon.

Laila Odom: I would love to be able to do an action film.
