Interview with Mercedes
Where are you from?
Mercedes: I'm currently living in Los Angeles, Ca. I'll be making my way to Atlanta very soon though.
What is your ethnicity?
Mercedes: I am Black...and proud of it!
What are your measurements?
Mercedes: My measurements are 34-25-42
How did you get started in modeling?
Mercedes: I went to College for Fashion Design and Marketing...My focus was always geared towards designing, But I got a lot of offers to model other students designs. I started getting in touch with local photographers and here I am now :)
What part of your body are you most complimented on?
Mercedes: My eyes and my lips.
What do you think is your best physical attribute?
Mercedes: Wow, I would have to say thighs and hips. I don't know why, but their healthy and I like em' :)
On a scale of 1-10, how high do you rate the importance of good shoes/heels?
Mercedes: I really don't pay attention to shoes on other people. I love a good shoe sale myself
but I'm more of a designer purse type of person.
How do you deal with haters?
Mercedes: I'm flattered by them. I just giggle and go about my day. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions of course, But it seems silly for men or women for that matter to focus so intently on what other people are doing.
What are some of you current hobbies or interests?
Mercedes: I loooove to read. I go through withdraws when I don't have a book in my hand. I also have been writing since I was a little girl. I'm in the process of writing a novel.
What are some of your future goals?
Mercedes: A couple of my short term goals are to pass my real estate exam :) To complete a novel and get my website up and running.
How would you best describe your personality?
Mercedes: I'm actually really quiet and I keep to myself. I'm an extremely loyal and caring person, But I'm also very stubborn as well.
What are some of your turn-ons and turnoffs?
Mercedes: Stability and honesty is a turn on. If you haven't been in a relationship for more than 3 months at a time and your 30 their is something wrong with you! A turn off would be someone that is just a complete asshole to everyone around them. Also if their personal hygiene is terrible. Not cool.
What type of guys do you like?
Mercedes: I prefer dating older men. Men that are over hitting the club every week. Very respectful and passionate men :)
If you had a choice to be an actress or model, which one do you prefer?
Mercedes: Model.
Where you surprised that you were voted sexiest cutie of the day 2008?
Mercedes: I was of course. There were very beautiful women that I was competing against. I'm very glad that I won. Thank you for those that voted for me :)
Will we see you modelling for major magazines like Smooth,King etc?
Mercedes: Of course you will!
