Interview with Tia Nicole
Tia: Im from Atlanta, GA but I live in Orange County, CA. I grew up my entire life between both places.
What is your ethnic background?
Tia: Everyone calls me a mutt! I’m black, Puerto Rican, Asian, Irish, and French.
What are your measurements?
Tia: My measurements are 34D-27-40
How did you get started in modeling?
Tia: I was contacted by a photographer on Myspace one day. He liked my look and wanted to shoot me. After those photos released more and more people wanted to work with me, and the rest is history!
Do you have any role models in the industry?
Tia: Yes, Nilanti Narain and Vanessa Veasley are people I definitely look up to. Im fortunate enough to personally know Nilanti- shes a hard worker and the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet! Also, Suelyn Medieros is someone I admire…I just signed with her management team and am thrilled to be in the same hands that she’s in.
What keeps you motivated?
Tia: My fans!! Theres been a few times when I’ve been discouraged and felt like giving up, but whenever I get a message of love from one of my fans, I remember why I’m doing this and why I enjoy it so much!
What part of your body are you most complimented on?
Tia: I get the most compliments on my legs and butt. My butt is the perfect size and nice and firm, and even though I’m barely 5’5”, I have rather long muscular legs.
What do you think is your best physical attribute?
Tia: I personally think my smile is my best attribute…Im always complimented on it. Thank goodness it’s a nice smile, because im ALWAYS laughing and smiling!
How often do you work out?
Tia: I HATE working out and I barely ever do! I’ve been blessed with a fast metabolism so luckily I can eat and not work out too often and still keep a nice figure. The only real exercise I get is teaching 2 hours of dance class per week!
What are some of you current projects?
Tia: I just signed with Warren & Baram Management so hopefully you’ll be seeing me in a new Drake video and a new Lil Wayne video very soon, as well as a few new movies.
What are some of your future goals?
Tia: Im also a singer so I’m working on an album. I’m hoping to sign with a label and do some big things!
How would you best describe your personality?
Tia: I would describe my personality as very straightforward and funny. I never hold my tongue and I always say what’s on my mind, good or bad! But I always tend to make people laugh with the crazy stuff that comes out of this mouth of mine!
What are some of your guilty pleasures?
Tia: My biggest guilty pleasure is ice cream cake!! If you sit one in front of me I’d probably eat the whole thing with zero guilt! Haha!
What is something about you that people would be surprised to know?
Tia: People would be surprised to know that at one point I was in the LA Sheriffs Academy! Handcuffs anyone? ;)
What’s more important to you? Hot shoes or a hot bag?
Tia: Oh, that question is SO unfair! No real woman could pick between those two!! They’re both equally important!
