I do think though that black men, especially athletes, need to raise their standards. Before I get flamed here’s my reasoning. A lot of black athletes especially wife up white women that most men (particularly white men) would not wife. Like I laugh at guys like Reggie Bush who has basically made Kim-Kar his #1, or how about that player who quickly married Hue Heffner’s cast-away, Kendra. It’s nothing new people, some black men just have the complex where they feel that they’ve not truly ‘arrived’ until they have a white trophy on their arm. And I think white women, especially white gold-diggers (saying that to make it clear that not all white women are gold diggers) are getting wise to the fact that these black men idolize them and are easy pickins. I mean do we really think that Nicole Brown married O.J. because she loved him? It’s sad but I think some of these girls just know it’s easier to land Mr. Black Ball Player that it is to get Mr. Rich White Man #9999999. Hey but it’s their choice and usually these guys have to deal with the ramifications, as does any man who chooses to marry/be with a women who is only interested in his money/wealth…it’s rarely a happy ending.
I also think that this is a theme that is grossly exaggerated. I’m sure if you run the numbers the majority of black men, athletes, the successful, etc. marry black women. They are all not flocking to white women. Times are changing and things that weren’t acceptable years ago are becoming more P.C. so you’re going to see a jump. Also the so called problem of a black woman finding a good black man is nothing new in America, it’s a consequence of the past which results in our issues today. People like to point fingers at interracial couples (black guy/white girl) but that’s just not correct.

I am not that into white girls, not since elementary school. I just noticed, many years ago, that black men that make over $100,000 had very light skinned wives and black men making over $1,000,000 had white wives.
