The Russian atrocities were a system. The atrocities associated with slavery were, and still are, a culture. A culture that the colonial powers effectively exported all around the world (Africa is still in turmoil because of colonialism; and all around the world African blood is oppressed and marginalized). That is why some Pakistani cab driver can be here in the US of A for six months, while my family (especially the Native American part) has been here far longer and contributed far more to this county, but that cab driver will still react to me and interact with me as that culture founded in slavery says he should. Russians have no trouble catching a cab in New York. I do. Russians don't get racially profiled. I do.

Communism, whether in China or Russia, did not strip an entire people of their culture and their language. Slavery did. Stalin's system or Chinese communism did not attach negative and pervasive stigmas to the people of Russia or China. Slavery did. And that is without even delving into the psychological effects of slavery. How would you like to walk around knowing that your last name came from some asshole that owned your ancestors? Communism is to blame 90%. We had a decent president. Boris Yeltsin. During his years, Russia developed a Middle Class. People were able to make money, which is how my mother summed up an amout to immigrate. He did some. But he couldnt do much.

But after those events you didn't see groups of people still murdering folks over there and trying to force their will on others over there anymore did you. His political party rose to power by overthrowing the tsar, which is a monarch. Now no the whole country didn't vote them into power. But they were a group of people that believed in Marxism and yes they elected and chose/elected their leaders. And yes they rose to power by overthrowing the tsar during the Russian Civil War during 1917 - 1919. Stalin himself rose through there ranks through corruption and murder. You're sitting here talking about others and you don't even no the facts yourself. And yes Stalin wasn't Russian but he was from a part of the Russian Empire....he did change his name later but doesn't change the fact that some people supported the Bolsheviks rise to power because they were fed up with the monarchy. Now no the whole country didn't vote them into power. But they were a group of people that believed in Marxism and yes they elected and chose/elected their leaders. And yes they rose to power by overthrowing the tsar during the Russian Civil War during 1917 - 1919. Stalin himself rose through there ranks through corruption and murder. You're sitting here talking about others and you don't even no the facts yourself. Where do you get your numbers from? Together Stalin and Lenin killed over 110 million people. If you want to go by numbers, I would say communism was worse. If you think about the affects each had, slavery being longer, and having a more lasting affect, I would say was worse.
