Last year, a couple of my friends had a tent set up outside Best Buy, they ended up getting some laptops and one of them got a 50 inch flat screen LCD TV. We might end up doing something similar this year.
umm, do you mean BLACK Friday???

My wife is in to it big time. She loves the challenges and the crowds. I hate it! We went last year and waited at Walmart for $9 Wii games and at Bestbuy for a 32-inch Samsung LCD TV.
The TV was defective and was returned in exchange for a 40-inch Samsung LCD that was $35 more. This was a sale 3 days after Black Friday.
The Wii games sucked! We purchased eight!
Check out places like Amazon.com and Bestbuy.com for Black Friday deals and stay home. Most of the deals are available online starting at midnight. Just be ready for slow websites.
Good luck if you go.
Bishop is right. Most major stores do similar sales online. Last year, I bought all the Christmas presents on Black Friday online. I was in bed by 2 and I got ridiculous deals like memory cards for $1, a GPS for $100, and toys for my little sisters for $15 (reg. price $30+).
As an aside, I only buy TVs from Costco. Why? They give you the extended warranty free, the exact same one Best Buy will charge $200 for.
yea I worked at Target on Black Friday lat year (not in the morning though THANK GOD) but I can tell you when I started my shift the store was TORE DOWN! especially the to section.
My sister and aunts go leave at 5 am the morning after, and drive out o the suburbs and shop away to get the deals, its crazy if you ask me. especially seeing how like Bishop and Toa said, you can get the same deals online, they even call the Saturday after thanksgiving "Cyber Saturday" now because of all the deals retailers post on their sites now.
