My roots are in Avoyelles Parish. I can still remember Archie Manning playing...showing my age...on TV of course. I can also remember my uncles having breakdowns every season because of that team that plays in the Superdome (too superstitous to say the name while they're winning). For so many years LSU has been Lousiana football; in my family Grambling and Southern. But for that team that plays in the Superdome to make a run at the Superbowl is incredible. Having watched them this year I haven't seen a team play any better...Denver & Indy are looking good though. At the end of the year I'm hoping a Superbowl Champ banner will be flying over New Orleans, and New Orleans can send a big fuck you to the rest of the country!
