Any help would be tremendously appreciated

Here are my questions

1-Where I live leases are usually 12 months and rarely something different, how is it in Toronto ? (I would love to get an apartment for 6 months, so that I can move if I don't like that specific neighbourhood)

2- In which papers will I find the best classifieds ?

3- Which neighborhoods do you suggest ?

4- What are the prices for a nice above the ground bachelor in a safe area ?

Thanks for any input, this means a lot to me !

Do not settle in... Flemingdon Park, Regent Park and Jane and Finch. It's cheap...and lots of other things that aren't so pleasant lol...

Apartment in downtown Toronto are quite expensive, cuz they are in the middle of everything...so the farther from downtown u go, they cheaper they will be. As far as specific areas, I'm not sure. I can only say in general.

I've read it's better to move in September or May there's a bigger choice ?

Is that true ?
