LOL...I read the question wrong, you meant after having the baby.. I think she should be allowed the 6 weeks, the doctor will tell you that you really don't need you be out doing too much after having a child, you don't want a setback.. the work should be provided at home

ALL mothers should get maternity leave. Whether in school or at work, if there's a child to be raised, there's a child to be raised..... and the best way to raise a child is to BE with them, at least the first yera or two.... and yes this applies for teens as well.

Maternity leave for a teenager???? Flunk her ass! She's going to flunk or be way behind anyway because she missed so much school. Maybe have the guy that got her pregnant be responsible for getting her the schoolwork she needs.
