I say to every action there's a reaction and the reaction of racism are those things and many, many others. Some people fold from racism while others focus and get stronger. It's just that the weak outweigh the strong.

...well, Jesse Jackson and a few others would have to get real jobs but joking aside, I have no clue what would happen or how Black America would turn out.

I guess, just as a few others have said, proverty would eventually lessen in our communities and the jails would empty but if the fight isn't over racism, the power elite would find something else to chide people aganist each other.

On the other hand if you would have said we would be this close to a Black President two years ago I would have laughed my azz off saying "Not in this lifetime".

I guess seeing Dennis Haysbert and Morgan Freeman as US Presidents on television started conditioning folks to the ideal.

in my eyes, the REAL problem that people face, all races and sexes, is classism. it's sad.

but unfortunately, people are close minded and ignorant ... which is why racism is not ending today. nor tomorrow. yes, it has improved. it's come a long long way, it's not as appearant as people being divided based on race, but it's still a major problem in the GOVERNMENT.

like immortal technique said in "The Poverty of Philosophy", the real problem America faces is not racism , but classism. It's not racism within the average white kid down the street, it's the rich motehrfucker in the white house who you CANT see.
