Hey fellow CC'ers how u all been? i havent been on here a lot so just wanted to find out what y'al been up to?

Also 2 questions for you all in thinks ive observed recently...

1. Is Madden on the Nintendo Wii one of the greatest and most fun sports game to play ever on any console considering you do the Wii motions like throwing the football and catching?

2. BET has recently started here in England and all the shows we get are of course from the states and my general observation of shows like hip-hop vs america and keep the faith i think its called with some guy called Ian something lol anyway after watching those shows it always seems that no matter what they are talking about it always comes back to slavery and thats whats wrong with "African-Americans" today and what i dont get is slavery finished around 200 or 300 years so why is that holding back "African-Americans" today?
Its like its used as an excuse by black people as to why they dont want to amount to anything or maybe im jus being ignorant cos i dont know the full facts so someone please educate me cos BET as a whole is a god awful channel!

:lmao: :lmao: Sorry, Swizz. America is just way too screwed up right now. Most of us don't even want to think about it. One of my favorite bloggers stopped blogging because he is so disgusted right now.

And yeah, what they said, at least for now. But to begin with, slavery might have officially ended in 1865, but official government policies and laws that relegated blacks to slave-like status only officially ended with the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1965. That is just 40 years ago.

And if you are comparing the state of affairs in England, you have to remember that Europe, and most notably England, pretty much got rid of slavery in 1833, because they didn't continue sanctioning racism with laws like the Jim Crow South in the United States. So slavery, or more accurately government-sanctioned racism, really wasn't all that long ago around these parts.
