Let's see here, shows that I really like but were axed before they should have been:
Arrested Development- easily the best ensemble cast ever for a sitcom. The show was sharply written and hilarious. Still my favorite sitcom ever.
Fastlane- the show wasn't deep on storylines but I thought it was dope and I wanted to see at least a second season.
Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn- this show was so brutal and honest with their commentary every night... watching Greg Giraldo, Patrice O' Neal, Jim Norton and Nick DiPaolo just attack topics every night was dope. Kevin Hart was funny when he would appear, too. Colin Quinn isn't that funny though, they should have let Greg Giraldo host the show. Still a dope, under-appreciated show.
The George Lopez Show- I loves me some Constance Marie.
Fastlane- the show wasn't deep on storylines but I thought it was dope and I wanted to see at least a second season.
You knew what was going to happen every show,
but the fast paced action, cars and women more
than made up for it.
The complete series is being released on July 8th.

The Wire could have gone on for at least two more seasons.

All of Us.
Aside from the fact that I could watch LisaRaye 24-7, I wanted to see where they where going with their relationship. At least end it with them back together.
And the Cosby Mysteries/Kojak with Ving Rhames.

that was my shit. fox said it cost to much to produce but TVOne shows the reruns if u have it in your area...
the thing about blacks folks is, like the movies, we dont watch tv as much or as often as other folks...
thats why i can never understand why they put tv shows geared to black folks on friday nights when they know damn well we arent gonna be home, especially the younger folks. its like they set them up to fail...
whatever the show was that came on after fastlane about the dude who got out of jail and became a hired "gun" to help people was pretty good.
cuts was also gettin funny too.

Daybreak was a pretty interesting show. But whenever you have Taye Diggs, the series killer, around the show is bound to fail.
There was a show called Drive I think, about a bunch of people on a cross country race. It came on for like a month and vanished. It was pretty good.

"Greg The Bunny" was an innovative and very funny show that FOX never really gave a chance -- just like "Family Guy" and "Arrested Development", but those two shows got a second chance.
I was starting to like "K-Ville" but I think putting it up against CW's Monday night black sit-coms lineup plus the recent writers' strike was what killed it. Now that Anthony Anderson is gonna be a cast member of "Law & Order", that pretty much means there no chance of them bringing "K-Ville" back.
I also liked "Boston Public" (damn, FOX done killed a lot of great shows before they really gave them a chance)
"Freaks And Geeks" - At least they released the whole season on DVD!
I thinks it's fucked up that they didn't give "Girlfriends" a proper ending!

House of Payne is rather cheesy but its still better than a few other shows like "Friends", "3rd Rock from the Sun" and "Seinfeld". I still support it because this is the first time a Black Man has had complete control of his show from production to ownership rights.
Shows I miss are:
Kojak (with Ving Rhames)
The Unit (not sure if its coming back on)
The Green Hornet (yeah, its old but the Bruce Lee parts were sick!!!)
The Bernie Mack Show (I hate when they don't let Black shows end with dignity)
New York Undercover (produced by the same guy that does Law & Order - Dick Wolf)
The Arsenio Hall Show (outlet for non-mainstream artist)
Futurama
Firefly
The Tick (a super-hero that's legally insane having escaped from a mental institution)
Beavis & Butt-Head (very stupid show but it made me laugh - it had its moments)

"Pirates of Dark Water" is one of my all-time favorites. They tried to rush through the story once the announcement that it was canceled came but it still was left unfinished.

Recently Kings was canceled and wasn't picked up.
I usually don't hop on shows til later, but today they don't even give you that chance.
They rather put out reality shows.

"Cane" starring Jimmy Smits was a great show that should have got more run but seemed to disappear after the writers' strike.
Freaks & Geeks was a good show that deserved a second season but most of the stars went on to bigger things anyways.
New York Undercover killed itself when it decided to kill Eddie. The show was wack after that.

I just watched what I hope is the series finale of Scrubs. The main character is leaving and it wouldn't be Scrubs without J.D. The way that they ended this season is how the series should end (on a high note instead of taking it's run and then being cancelled without any type of closure). ABC is in talks with the shows creator about having another season but I hope this falls through...

Yea, i started this thread about a year ago, that's when i was pissed off at the way Scrubs end.....i think I'm ready to see it end now cause it sucks now, it's just not the same. Although i really didn't care for JD (too chicken shit) i rather see it end then try too hard and suck........I'll stick with the reruns on syndication.
