Black People and Hunting

I like to watch alot of these hunting channels and shows and I am amazed at the fact that black people are not into hunting. The Constitution gives us the right to bear arms, and the laws for states allow you to purchase a weapon such as rifles for hunting with proper I.D.

Why has White America overshadowed this sport and past time and is it possibly also a training ground for white militants and that is hy blacks are not involved?

I wouldn;t mind going duck, rabbit, deer, wild turkey hunting...as opposed to being hunted in my own hood!

I grew up in the rural South -- I've been hunting and fishing my whole life and got my first gun (a .22 caliber rifle) for my 12th birthday. I go hunting with my brother and his 12 and 14 year old boys all the time. It's just something that we were groomed to love!

I've gone deer hunting twice in my life..Killed 1 deer.(which we had butchered for the meat)..But the most fun was looking at all the white hunters faces when they saw a group of blackmen with hunting rifles..And blunts..Priceless!!!the game warden told us that we were the only hunters that left the area they way we found it(no beer cans and garbage and no wounded animals left to suffer and die from botched shots).But hunting to white folks is a corporate thing as well..Its a way to network and measure the character of possible prospects. Besides most of them were terrible hunters(where we went).And my opinion why more black folks don't hunt is simply this..It's not a part of are culture to hunt..We were more the hunted than the hunter when we were brought over here..Hint..KKK,rednecks,slavery..Get the point.

I'm really into fire arms, but I'd rather go to the range (preferably an outdoor one) than hunt some helpless animals.

If I did hunt, I would make it interesting and just use a Colt 1911A1 .45ACP instead of a high powered rifle with a fucking NASA scope on it. That rifle shit is making it too easy lol. Clay shooting is ill as fuck though.
