For Tehmeena Afzal, timing has been the essential element in her career. Better known as Meena amongst her thousands of fans, the Queens, NY native got her start in the entertainment industry as an entrepreneur before stumbling upon her true calling, modeling.

Where are you from?

“I was born and raised in Queens, NY and i currently live in Long Island.”

How long have you been modeling?

“I’ve been modeling seriously for the past year now. I Originally got into it about 5 years back but didn’t focus on it as much as i wanted to because I was focused on my mixtape website and music back then.”

Before modeling you were known as a very successful entrepreneur. What keeps you driven and successful?

“I wasn’t the best things for my son. Hes the reason I’m so driven because i refuse to give him anything less than the best.”

How often do you work out?

“Hardly, I work to much to even get a chance to work out so I make sure I eat as healthy as possible and drink a lot of water.”

What do you think is your best physical attribute?

“I would have to say that it is my face. It always keeps people trying to figure out what my ethnicity is.”

How would you best describe your personality?

“I’m a very happy, animated, laid back and funny person. I do have my grumpy/bitch days but who doesn’t?..lol”

What are some of your guilty pleasures?

” I love chocolate and candy. If I dont get my daily fix I turn into a monster.”

Whats your definition of sexy?

“My definition of sexy is having the whole package.”

What was the experience like shooting with Nick Saglimbeni and SHOW Magazine?

“Amazing! He is so good at what he does. He made me feel like I was doing everything right which gave me a total confidence boost and the end result was an amazing spread in Show Magazine.”

“I am looking to getting more into acting this year and still expect to see me in major publications as well as music videos.”

What type of music do you enjoy the most?

“I enjoy pop music most Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.”

What do you find attractive in a person?

“Personality is what really is the determining factor for me. I used to be all about looks but theres alot of good looking guys out there that have scum personalities, so the most attractive thing to me now is the inner, we can always work on the outside if needed..lol”

What is something about you that people would be surprised to know?

“I recieved a full athletic scholarship to college as a pitcher. My fastball was clocked at 63 mph and I never met a guy that could hit my fastball (wink)”
